XRP perpetual futures, explained
A XRP perpetual future (perp) lets you trade XRP with leverage and no expiry. The funding rate keeps the perp price tethered to spot - positive funding means XRP longs are paying shorts (crowded longs), negative means the reverse. Open interest is the total value of open XRP positions; a fast rise means new leverage is flowing in. Liquidations show where over-leveraged XRP traders got force-closed - long liquidations on drops, short liquidations on rallies.
How to use this XRP dashboard
Read the four numbers together. Heavy positive funding plus lopsided long positioning and rising open interest is a crowded long setup that can unwind sharply. A spike in long liquidations often marks a local XRP bottom; a wave of short liquidations can fuel a squeeze higher. Confirm entries on the technical screener and size with the XRP liquidation calculator so leverage never puts you closer to liquidation than you intend.
Trading XRP (XRP) with leverage
XRP perps see sharp, news-driven moves and carry large speculative open interest. When you trade XRP on leverage, the single most important number is your liquidation price. At 100× a roughly 1% move against you is a wipeout; at 10× it takes about a 9–10% move; at 5× closer to 18%. Because XRP can move several percent in a session, traders who last keep XRP leverage modest and set a stop-loss inside the liquidation level rather than chasing the maximum the exchange allows. Work out exactly where a XRP position would be liquidated with the liquidation calculator, and how funding drains margin over a multi-day hold with the funding-fee calculator.
The four live numbers above tell you how crowded and leveraged the XRP market is right now - read them together. Then screen the whole market on the futures screener, watch real XRP liquidations stream in on the live liquidations feed, and rehearse any XRP idea at the live price with zero risk on the XRP paper-trading terminal before you commit real margin.
