ORDI Liquidation Calculator

The quick answer: a ORDI (ORDI) long is liquidated roughly 1 ÷ leverage below your entry (minus a ~0.5% maintenance margin) - about 9.5% at 10×, ~3.5% at 25× and ~0.5% at 100×; shorts mirror the same distance above entry. The calculator below gives your exact price for any entry, leverage and side - free, instant and private (it runs in your browser).

LIVE ORDI DATA · UPDATED 2026-10-01 03:38 UTC

ORDI is trading at $4.69 right now, little changed over the past 24 hours. From this price, a long is liquidated near $4.25 at 10x, $4.53 at 25x, $4.62 at 50x and $4.67 at 100x (0.5% maintenance margin) - short levels mirror the same distances above the price. The past 24 hours were quiet for ORDI - the move stayed inside even a 100x buffer, which is the exception rather than the rule. Funding is currently flat (+0.0000%), so holding a leveraged ORDI position costs little either way right now.

How ORDI liquidation works

ORDI, the Bitcoin BRC-20 token, follows BTC with a much bigger beta - the liquidation price sits closer than the leverage alone suggests. Liquidation happens when losses eat through the margin backing your position - the exchange force-closes it to stop the loss going past your collateral. The isolated-margin estimate is Entry × (1 − 1/Leverage + MMR) for a long and Entry × (1 + 1/Leverage − MMR) for a short, where MMR is the maintenance margin rate (about 0.5% on most ORDI perpetuals). ORDI futures list up to 50× leverage across the major venues, but the headline cap is a trap: the higher you go, the closer liquidation sits to your entry.

ORDI liquidation distance by leverage

How far ORDI has to move against an isolated-margin long before it is liquidated, at a 0.5% maintenance margin:

LeverageMove to liquidationInitial margin
5×−19.50%20.00%
10×−9.50%10.00%
25×−3.50%4.00%
50×−1.50%2.00%

At 100× a move of about 0.5% wipes the position; at 5× you get roughly 19.5% of room. Because ORDI routinely moves several percent in a session, most traders who last keep ORDI leverage in the low-to-mid range and let the position breathe.

Worked example - 10× ORDI long

A 10× ORDI long entered at $12 with a 0.5% maintenance margin rate is liquidated at about:

Numbers are one thing; watching real leverage get wiped is another. The live liquidations feed and the Rekt ticker show ORDI longs and shorts being force-closed across nine exchanges (Binance, Bybit, OKX, Hyperliquid, Gate, HTX, dYdX, BitMEX, Bitfinex) in real time - a spike in long liquidations often marks local capitulation, a spike in shorts a squeeze. Then rehearse the trade with zero risk on the ORDI paper-trading terminal at the live price, and screen the whole market on the futures screener.

FAQ

At what percentage is a ORDI position liquidated?

Roughly 1 ÷ leverage, minus the maintenance margin. A 10× ORDI position is liquidated after about a 9–10% adverse move; 25× after ~4%; 100× after ~1%.

Does the ORDI liquidation price change with position size?

For isolated margin, no - the liquidation price depends on entry, leverage and MMR, not on how big the position is. For cross margin your whole wallet balance backs the trade, which pushes liquidation further away; model that with the cross-margin calculator.

Is this ORDI liquidation calculator accurate?

It uses the standard isolated-margin formula and your exchange's maintenance margin. Real liquidation can differ slightly because of fees, funding and tiered maintenance margin on very large positions - treat the figure as a close estimate and leave a buffer.
