Moon Review (2026): Call Crypto, Stocks & Forex Up or Down — 24/7

Guides · 7 min read · Updated June 2026

Most trading platforms make you choose a lane: a crypto exchange for perps, a broker for stocks, another app for forex. Moon — MarginPad's newest partner — collapses that into one account with one question per trade: up or down? Here is what it actually is, who it fits, and how it plugs into MarginPad. (Links to Moon and Bybit below are referral links; our full exchange comparison covers every venue we track.)

What Moon is

Moon (moon.com) is a direction-first trading platform. You pick a market, decide whether it is going up or down, set your size and leverage, and you are in the trade. No order book to read, no margin-mode settings to configure first — the surface is deliberately simple, which is exactly what makes it approachable if a full futures terminal feels like a cockpit.

The market range is the headline: crypto majors, stocks like Apple and Tesla, forex pairs and commodities — tradeable from the same balance, around the clock. That 24/7 access is genuinely unusual for anything beyond crypto: traditional stock and forex venues close nights and weekends.

The social layer

Moon leans social in a way exchanges usually do not: there is a public leaderboard, a feed of best bets, and you can follow other traders and watch how their calls play out. If you learned to trade around leaderboards and shared tickets (MarginPad people will feel at home), the format clicks immediately — performance is public, and good calls build a track record.

Moon vs a perpetual-futures exchange

An honest framing, since we compare exchanges for a living:

Choose a futures venue like Bybit when you want deep order-book liquidity on crypto, precise limit entries, partial exits, and full control of margin and liquidation mechanics. That control is why serious crypto derivatives traders live there — and why our Paper Trade terminal simulates exactly that style.

Choose Moon when the decision is directional and you want reach: calling a stock, a forex pair or a commodity up or down at 3 a.m. on a Sunday is not something your crypto exchange offers. The simplicity cuts both ways — you give up granular position management, and leverage amplifies losses exactly as it amplifies gains, same as anywhere. Size accordingly, and treat a new platform the way you would any new venue: start small, withdraw early, scale only when the full deposit-trade-withdraw loop has proven itself for you.

How Moon connects to MarginPad

Two integrations make this partnership more than a logo swap:

1. Rewards cash out straight to Moon. MarginPad's rewards faucet pays real money for using the site — and at withdrawal you can choose a Moon username as the destination instead of an exchange UID. Practice funds earned here become a live Moon balance there. There is also a Moon sign-up reward on the same page.

2. Practice first, free. Every mechanic that matters on Moon — direction, sizing, leverage, knowing when you are wrong — is exactly what Paper Trade drills at live prices with zero risk. The traders who do best on real platforms are the ones who made their mistakes on paper first.

The caveats, plainly

Moon is new, and new means a shorter public track record than decade-old venues — that is not a red flag, it is a fact, and the same was once true of every exchange we list. Leveraged directional trading is risky on any platform; nothing here is financial advice. Availability varies by region, so check what is offered where you live. And if you are not sure you are ready for real money at all, you already know where to practice.

NOT READY FOR REAL MONEY YET?

Practice direction, sizing and leverage at live prices with zero risk — then graduate when the mechanics are second nature.
