Axie Infinity perpetual futures, explained

A AXS perpetual future (perp) lets you trade Axie Infinity with leverage and no expiry. The funding rate keeps the perp price tethered to spot — positive funding means AXS longs are paying shorts (crowded longs), negative means the reverse. Open interest is the total value of open AXS positions; a fast rise means new leverage is flowing in.
