The Uniswap crypto has been experiencing significant demand, and part of it was organic. The latest market data revealed that the protocol has secured a large share of DEX volumes.

For context, Uniswap V4 has reportedly secured 50% of the Ethereum DEX volumes since late August last year. Moreover, it has held the top position since March this year, compared with other Uniswap versions and Curve Finance.

Interestingly, Aave V4 has secured dominance within the first 6 months after its launch. This highlights the rapid adoption rate that it has achieved since March.

Uniswap Claims Second Place in Tokenized Commodities Boom

The RWAs segment has been rapidly gaining traction in 2026. Tokenized commodities, in particular, have seen significant uptake, and Uniswap is one of the protocols driving that growth.

According to Token Terminal, Uniswap is now the second-largest DeFi protocol by tokenized commodities. Aave secured the top position with 51.3% of the deposits. Uniswap V3 held 17.3% of the tokenized commodities market share, while Uniswap V4 ranked third at 11.2%.
